I recorded this song as part of Twestival
Twestival.fm - Twitter does Live AidImogen Heap donated vocal tracks from a song she recorded but never released. They invited artists to re-mix her song. You can hear all the entries here.
On 12 February 2009, 200+ cities around the world will be hosting Twestivals bringing together local Twitter communities for an evening of fun as well as raising money and awareness for charity: water.
This was by far the most fun I've ever had recording a song. It really felt like I was working with Imogen Heap.

I found this a-capella track on the internet and put music around it. I emailed the singer and she replied back saying she liked my Reggaeton interpretation. Reggaeton? Ok...

Another special Christmas request from Lester. This is becoming a tradition. (Last year I did "Carol of the Bells".) It's all good - I love me some Christmas music.
I played around a lot with harmony. A borrowed 5 string bass added a much-needed low B.

I recorded this by request for my lovely wife Lester. I have always liked this song. It sounds heavy even when performed by a brass ensemble. I hope she likes it.

Another songfight submission. The rhythm guitars sounded good for a chage. I mic'd them this time. Not real happy with the vocals as usual. I sang mostly in tune, my voice just sucks.

A SongFight submission. I think the chorus is pretty catchy. I don't smoke pot.

I think this could be a really good song if recorded professionally with a good singer.

My 2nd songfight submission. I went for pop-rock with a country-ish flavor. The guitar solos are mostly slop. Once again, lyrics are an after-thought.

I wrote this for songfight but had tech problems and never submitted it. Definitely my best lyric writing: "She's a space cadet - wearing only red - glamour fashionista on a train". Also has some fresh free-form guitar wankage.

I wrote this for my friend Tony of Brown Skin Natives. I ended up adding a melody guitar line for flavor.

A goofy funk song, also recorded at Max's house. The horns came out nice. Mucho splicing.
