Carol of the Bells more info	12/23/2004	I recorded this by request for my lovely wife Lester. I have always liked this song. It sounds heavy even when performed by a brass ensemble. I hope she likes it. Written by Mykola Dmytrovich Leontovych, 1916. (More info here if you're interested.)

Dog Without Warning more info	12/27/2003	Another songfight submission. The rhythm guitars sounded good for a chage. I mic'd them this time. Not real happy with the vocals as usual. I sang mostly in tune, my voice just sucks.

Fromunda Cheese more info	11/16/2003	I have been wanting to do a self-indulgent guitar solo song and this is it. Writing instrumentals is more difficult than I thought. With vocals, you can use a lot of repetition with the music because people will be listening to the vocals. With instrumentals, the challenge is to keep it interesting and not repeat things too much. That being said, this song is mostly guitar wankage.

Happy Machine Ankle more info	09/25/2003	Another songfight submission. The title created a real challenge. How can anyone work "Happy Machine Ankle" into a song? It was tough. Has nice guitar harmonies. The part at 1:50 is the best chord progresion I've ever written. I was going for some Queen-like freshness.
Step Up more info	09/14/2003	My 2nd songfight submission. I went for pop-rock with a country-ish flavor. The guitar solos are mostly slop. Once again, lyrics are an after-thought.
Space Cadet more info	09/04/2003	I wrote this for songfight but had tech problems and never submitted it. Definitely my best lyric writing: "She's a space cadet - wearing only red - glamour fashionista on a train". Also has some fresh free-form guitar wankage.
