- Fender Stratocaster with Seymour Duncan HotRail pickup in the bridge pos. Mexican "Taco-caster". Some day I'll buy a nice American Strat.
- Fender Champion 30 guitar amp. I'm partial to Fender amps.
- Zoom 505 effects pedal. This pedal kind of sucks, but I got it on eBay for $30. The distortion is decent for times I can't crank my big amp.
- Ovation acoustic guitar. My first nice acoustic guitar. This thing sounds great, although the rounded back does not make for comfortable couch-playing.
- Peavey Milestone II bass. I needed a cheap bass. This does the job.
- Fostex MR-8 digital multitrack. This thing is amazing. You can record up to 8 tracks, convert to .wav, and send to a pc with usb.
- Zoom MRT-3 drum machine. The cheapest drum machine I could find and it does everything I need.
- Shure SM-57 microphone. The standard for recording guitar amps. Mic'ing the amp is the only way to go.
- Fostex PS 3.1 studio monitors. Fostex discontinued these and I got them for super-cheep.
- Realistic studio headphones
- Yamaha PSS 480 keyboard. A dinosaur by today's standards. Rarely used.
- (not pictured) Shure SM-58 microphone for vocalizing.
- (not pictured) Alesis Midiverb for trying to maky my voice bearable.
